Lisa has an Associates Degree in Horticulture and 16 years of experience working for several landscape companies from Maine to Massachusetts. She has worked on both small to large residential properties and commercial properties. She had the opportunity to work as a fine gardener for 2 years on a large private estate in Seacoast New Hampshire, and worked as the Head Horticulturalist for Abenaqui Country Club in Rye Beach, NH before having kids.
With her extensive plant knowledge including annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, ornamental grasses, herbs, and vegetables, Lisa can design a garden landscape that best suits your needs. She also creates beautiful container plantings to dress up a stairway, deck, or patio.
Jeff Hynes fell into stonework by completely reconstructing the 150 foot natural stone wall in front of his home 17 years ago. He developed a passion for working with stone on this project and many others through the years at clients' homes in Marblehead, Massachusetts and southern NH.
Jeff's stonework experience includes building natural stone walls, retaining walls, brick and natural stone walkways and patios. He earned certification through ICPI (Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute) in 2008. He has also worked in estate gardens doing installation and maintenance, including tree and shrub planting and pruning.
Lisa and Jeff met in 2002. They shared a passion for the outdoors and creating beautiful spaces in yards. After working together on several projects in Marblehead, MA and southern NH, they decided to build a landscape gardening business together. With Jeff's creativity building stone walkways, walls, and patios, and Lisa's garden design and extensive plant knowledge, they work together to transform empty spaces into beautiful places. "It's very rewarding to see a space transformed into a creative, functional "outdoor room" or entrance to a house with new stonework and gardens."
